Bio
My name is Cari Wilson, and I have the honor and privilege of serving the youngest of Talladega City Schools as principal of R. L. Young Elementary School. I use my expertise in early childhood to assure our teachers and staff provide a developmentally appropriate, welcoming environment where students can learn and grow. Our students build the foundation of learning as they develop as a whole child.
I am married to Van Wilson, and we have three children, Mary, Isaac, and Kata, who also came to R. L. Young Elementary when they were younger. We have two dogs named Duke and Frito, and we love being outdoors. I enjoy spending time with my family, singing and playing the piano, and participating in church activities.
